Robyn Smith PAC Physician Assistant Certified
Hello and Welcome! My name is Robyn Smith, and I have been a Physician Assistant since 2005. My path in medicine has been long and meaningful, beginning with Internal Medicine and moving my way through Urgent Care and eventually finding my home in Emergency Medicine, where I have spent the last 15years caring for patients in some of life’s most critical moments.
My story in healthcare started long before becoming a PA. Over the years I have volunteered, worked as an MA, Phlebotomist, and even in the Microbiology Lab. Medicine has always been woven into the fabric of my life. I grew up surrounded by family who were also in healthcare, and some of my best memories are sitting around the dinner table listening to stories of the ER, Pharmacy, Rural medicine and the ICU. At an early age I loved medicine.
After many years in the fast-paced clinical and hospital environment, I began to feel and see that something important is missing in current medical practices. There is no longer a connection. It is my belief that people are looking and yearning for a different experience. One where they are seen, heard and cared for as a whole human being rather than being rushed through an appointment and checklists.
Seeing this is what led me to this chapter in my life.
My goal is to create a space that feels grounded, supported and human. A place where we slow down, ask better questions, take time to listen and focus on wellness, not just a disease.
I am especially excited about supporting women through the many stages of life to include childbearing, perimenopause and menopause. To support all the physical and emotional shifts that come with each and every stage. As each of these stages is unique and deserves thoughtful care, guidance and consideration.
While my primary focus is women’s health and wellness, I am also happy to see family members of all ages on a limited basis, recognizing that I am not formally Pediatric trained.
I am so excited to start this new journey and to take you along with me. I believe healthcare should feel collaborative, empowering and maybe a little bit hopeful.
My desire is that you feel supported, understood and heard in a way that is different from what you’ve experienced previously
Let’s connect, take care of you as a whole person and make life beautiful!!
